The Skills and Vocational Training Programme empowers disabled youth by equipping them with practical skills that enhance employability and promote financial independence. Training in tailoring, computer literacy, chalk piece making, envelope cover making and diya and candle making helps participants build confidence and prepare for jobs and entrepreneurship. The programme conducted on 22 January 2024 benefitted 30 people including 10 hearing impaired individuals, 10 physically handicapped persons and 10 members of the general public. Designed to meet diverse needs, it provides accessible, hands on learning that supports sustainable livelihoods. By reducing dependency and improving economic participation, the programme enables youth to lead more independent and dignified lives.
